Rhythms of Life

Our July Sermon Series

As we try to understand what going back to “normal” means many of us are reflecting on our lives, and who we want to be in the future. Many of us crave peace, balance, and joy, but find it eludes us , subsumed into the stress and busy-ness of everyday life. As we begin the process of meeting in person again, we will be considering ancient rhythms of Christian practice –  rest, connection, prayer, and giving – that can shape your life for a deep sense of satisfaction with God, no matter what is happening around you. Come this Sunday, and every Sunday this month, to learn how to put in place new rhythms for yourself and for Cosmopolitan that will bring you peace in all circumstances, joy in struggle, and sustain you throughout all life has to offer.

Last Sunday I spoke on PRAYER.  This Sunday, July 12 at 11am we will continue with GIVE – Giving to others is one of the things that helps us feel best, most empowered, and most connected to God.

Blessings to you as this new chapter in our church life begins,

Pastor JP
